Regular adjustments to a permanent, degenerative neck injury I suffered as a firefighter are the only thing that allows me to live a somewhat normal and somewhat pain free life. The subtle adjustments are surprisingly effective. I don't let traditional chiropractors near my neck.

I’m not a fan of typical crack and pop chiropractors and prefer acupuncture. However, the NUCCA (upper cervical) methods that Dr Erwin practices are not intrusive and seem to provide almost immediate benefits. After one correction, I walked out of the office feeling more balanced. As my body becomes more balanced and less bent and twisted my strength in the gym has progressively increased.

I had MRIs and x-rays and ultrasounds, and I’m glad I had that information, but doctors eventually pointed me toward pain management through medication that had many side effects. This kind of Chiropractic treatment of the upper cervical vertebrae treats the needs of the whole spinal column. Donald Erwin‘s practice offers initial x-ray when needed and for some people like myself only one or two adjustments took care of my lower back and did not require further ongoing treatments as was the case with most chiropractic treatments.

Dr Erwin is amazing. I found myself not being able to stand up straight as a matter of fact my face was parallel to the ground and I could not stand up I was referred to doctor and he said I could stand again but it would take about six visits. I stayed with him and little by little I was able to stand up straight. That was 15 years ago. And I see him on a regular basis to keep balanced. I actually call him the witch doctor because there's no reason the soft touch to your neck could make such a positive impact

I realized this week that I have not had a back issue in over a year. That means that I haven’t had to refrain from doing anything because of discomfort or pain. I look forward to my periodic visits as I never want to return to that imbalance in my atlas ever again. The office is professional and inviting.
